Dear Woodwind Quintet Afficianado,
All of the 12 pieces in this series have been arranged for special
gigs and are suitable for and have been used in college recitals, church
services, and wedding ceremonies. It seems that all audiences, no matter how
sophisticated, enjoy beautiful melodies and consonant harmonies.
Therefore these selections provide welcome relief in our programs of
"heavy music". Also, I'm a horn player and I know how we all want to play the
melody from time to time. Above all, they are musical, have solos for each
player, and are fun to play. Have fun and Happy Quintetting!
